Ericsson to Transform Orange 2G/3G Networks and Deploy LTE

Ericsson has announced that It is installing RBS 6000 multi-standard 2G/3G/4G radio base stations to enhance the user experience in terms of quality and capacity for Orange subscribers along with LTE deployment program.

Ericsson has announced that It is installing RBS 6000 multi-standard 2G/3G/4G radio base stations to enhance the user experience in terms of quality and capacity for Orange subscribers along with LTE deployment program. Company started deployment of 4G/LTE in the 2.6GHz and 800MHz bands to upgrade the operator’s networks in June 2012. 

Ericsson has been transforming existing 2G and 3G networks at more than 15,000 sites in south-west and north-east France and the Paris region since 2010. 

Ericsson teams are totally engaged in ensuring that Orange can achieve its 4G service rollout goals in 2013, says Franck Bouétard, Head of Ericsson in France.
