Verizon Wireless has selected CETECOM as a laboratory to test devices for operation on the nationwide 4G LTE network that Verizon Wireless is building on the Upper 700 MHz C-Block spectrum.

CETECOM will validate that the devices meet the minimal performance and conformance specifications necessary to operate on the Verizon Wireless LTE network.

In April,  CETECOM had submitted the RF test cases on a Rohde & Schwarz test platform  and 86 protocol test cases (3GPP TS 36.523-1) on Anite test platform to the Global Certification Forum (GCF) for validation.

Any organization considering offering devices on the upcoming Verizon Wireless LTE network will be able to work with CETECOM engineers. Additional details on when a device can be submitted for approval will be available at a later date.

CETECOM is renowned as neutral, experienced partner of the telecommunications and information technology industries and offers a unique service portfolio.

CETECOM’s portfolio includes consulting and training, development of test solutions, validation services, testing in accredited laboratories (LTE, 3G, GSM, Application Enabler, OTA Performance and EMC), field trials, certification and approval handling.
