TELUS Expands LTE Network Across Metro Vancouver

TELUS is now offering LTE services in Burnaby, New Westminster, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, South Delta and Vancouver after first announcing the new network earlier this year. Additional B.C.

TELUS is now offering LTE services in Burnaby, New Westminster, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, South Delta and Vancouver after first announcing the new network earlier this year. Additional B.C. communities will be getting access to 4G LTE in the coming months, as TELUS brings the technology to nearly 90 per cent of the province’s population by the end of 2012.

Operator has already launched a set of LTE devices including Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy Note, Huawei E397 4G LTE Mobile Internet Key and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Current rate plans will apply to all TELUS 4G LTE customers without premium charges.

By the end of 2012 TELUS 4G LTE service is expected in other Lower Mainland communities, Southern Vancouver Island, Whistler, Prince George, the Okanagan and Peace River region.
