AT&T Switches on LTE service in 14 New Markets

AT&T has launched its 4G LTE service in 14 new markets across the U.S. With this expansion, AT&T 4G LTE is now live in 461 markets and covers nearly 250 million people. 

AT&T has launched its 4G LTE service in 14 new markets across the U.S. With this expansion, AT&T 4G LTE is now live in 461 markets and covers nearly 250 million people. 

The new markets with AT&T’s 4G LTE service are Fairbanks Metropolitan Area, Ark.; Galesburg, Macomb and Peoria, Ill.; Des Moines, Iowa; Maysville and Madisonville, Ky.; Cumberland, Md.; St. Cloud, Minn.; St. Joseph, Mo.; Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; Gettysburg, Pa.; Big Spring, Texas and Winchester, Va. 

Operator’s LTE network is expected to cover nearly 270 million people by year-end 2013.
