With rumors floating around for possible support of 4G LTE, a new report surfaced today which indicates that Apple plans to add LTE equipped radio to its third-generation iPad.

iMore says, “The same source that originally told iMore Apple would be holding their iPad 3 event on March 7 has now let us know that the announcement will include 4G LTE networking.

Its not a such first claim but with 2 days until Apple to announce major product this week, it is significant.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that AT&T and Verizon would have LTE capable iPads in USA market. It means that even new iPad support LTE but it may work only on bands supported by these 2 big carriers and may not be available for rest of world for some time.
