Earlier this month, Verizon Wireless has already announced friendly user trials of LTE in five unnamed cities.
This BGR report seems to be quite believable given the fact it is with in anticipated time frame. Report further highlights that LTE handsets might not be there at the time of launch but new devices are planned for launch on Black Friday.
Verizon Wireless has already said to commercially launch its LTE 4G network in 25 to 30 markets in 2010, covering 100 million people.
According to Verizon Wireless, by 2013 the LTE coverage map will match or exceed it’s current 3G coverage map.
