Operator today launched its LTE service in Salt Lake City, Utah; Albuquerque, NM; Reading, Penn. and Guayama, San German-Cabo Rojo, and Yauco, Puerto Rico. With these additions, AT&T LTE is now live in 109 markets.

With these additions, AT&T LTE is now live in 109 markets.
Almost 90 percent of AT&T’s mobile data traffic now runs over enhanced backhaul that supports both HSPA+ and 4G LTE data traffic. AT&T LTE is expected to cover 300 million people by year-end 2014.
According to AT&T, over the past five years, it has invested more than $115 billion into operations and into acquiring spectrum and other assets that have enhanced AT&T’s wireless and wired networks.
