China Mobile has fully tested and certified Ericsson’s M7450 5-mode modem chipset for use in China Mobile’s network. Ericsson’s M7450 covers five access technologies: TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM. The LTE Advanced multimode modem targets smartphones, tablets and other connected devices.

According to Ericsson, M7450, LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation modem, is designed for global usage and covers the wide array of frequency bands and a feature set that includes Single RF Chip Carrier Aggregation, VoLTE and IMS.
In addition to this, certification with global operators in North America, Europe and Asia is progressing as well. First devices integrating the Ericsson M7450 will be on the market in the second half of this year.
