EE Adds LTE in 18 More Towns across UK

UK carrier EE has launched 4G LTE network in a further 18 towns across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. Less than two years since launch, 4G from EE now covers over 75% of the population across 281 large towns and cities and more than 2,500 villages and small towns.

UK carrier EE has launched 4G LTE network in a further 18 towns across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. Less than two years since launch, 4G from EE now covers over 75% of the population across 281 large towns and cities and more than 2,500 villages and small towns.

4G from EE goes live today in: Abingdon, Ashton-In-Makerfield, Brownhills, Corringham, Faversham, Fleetwood, Formby, Hebburn, Helensburgh, Hoddesdon, Holywood, Hythe, Prestatyn, Sandhurst, Spennymoor, Tilbury, Waltham Abbey and Wombourne.

According to EE, it’s double speed 4G is available in 20 cities – Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.
