EMT Opens LTE Network for Smartphones

Estonian mobile service has launched 4G smartphones on its LTE Network. Operator has been already offering LTE services to modems and routers users since last two years. New Internet Package “EMT Internet Phones 4G” 4G phones will allow owners to use their phones with 4G data capability.

Estonian mobile service has launched 4G smartphones on its LTE Network. Operator has been already offering LTE services to modems and routers users since last two years. New Internet Package “EMT Internet Phones 4G” 4G phones will allow owners to use their phones with 4G data capability.

EMT’s 4G network now covers 70% of the population and 35% of the territory. EMT plans to provide 4G coverage covered to whole of Estonia by end of the 2014.

Operator is currently supporting Asus Padfone II, V Sony Xperia, iPhone5 and plans to offer One SV HTC, Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE, LG Optimus G soon.
