July 23 (Bloomberg) — Diana ben-Aaron | Ericsson AB, the world’s largest maker of wireless phone networks, submitted a bid for Nortel Networks Corp.’s wireless assets, which may help bolster sales of services in North America.
July 23 (Bloomberg) — Diana ben-Aaron | Ericsson AB, the world’s largest maker of wireless phone networks, submitted a bid for Nortel Networks Corp.’s wireless assets, which may help bolster sales of services in North America.
“It’s an interesting opportunity and can create value for us,†Fredrik Hallstan, an Ericsson spokesman, said in a telephone interview. He declined to say how much the Stockholm- based company will offer in tomorrow’s auction in New York.
