Communications solutions provider Globecomm has announced that Adams NetWorks, Inc. (Adams) and Chariton Valley have commercially launched 4G LTE services to their customers leveraging Globecomm’s Hosted LTE solutions.
Adams, a regional telecommunications company providing Internet, voice and video services, is now offering its customers in Illinois a full 4G LTE fixed broadband service. Adams is one of Globecomm’s first carriers to deploy a 4G LTE hosted hybrid model. Globecomm is hosting the core equipment at its Hauppauge, New York facility with the company’s Converged Packet Gateway (CPG) solution located at Adams’ Quincy Data Center.
Chariton Valley, a locally-owned and operated communications carrier in Northeastern Missouri, has launched a full commercial service for home network subscribers on 700 MHz through Globecomm’s hosted LTE solution. Chariton Valley has been working with Globecomm since 2011 to both reconfigure and expand its network in order to offer more competitive services to its customers.
According to Globecomm, its hybrid 4G LTE network services provide a reliable, professionally managed LTE core, which enhances both capital savings and operations savings without requiring the carrier to use trained core network operators.
