Russia’s national operator Osnova Telecom has selected Amdocs Compact Convergence to support the commercial launch of its LTE network under a managed services model. 

Russia’s national operator Osnova Telecom has selected Amdocs Compact Convergence to support the commercial launch of its LTE network under a managed services model. 

According to operator, Amdocs will provide an integrated solution that will enable it to quickly launch and deliver services, while maintaining a low-cost, profitable structure.

“With convergent real-time charging, customer care, service delivery, and support for value-added-services and Next-Gen IN (Intelligent Networks), Amdocs Compact Convergence supplies everything that Osnova Telecom needs to support the launch of its LTE network,” said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president for product and solutions marketing at Amdocs.

Amdocs will take full responsibility for the system’s day-to-day operations, maintenance and future development.
