Sprint Introduces LTE Service in Five Additional Cities

Sprint’s 4G LTE is now available in Lawrence, Kan.; Topeka, Kan.; Wichita, Kan.; Waukegan-Lake County, Ill.; and Barnstable-Hyannis/Mid-Cape. With this announcement, Sprint has LTE service in 24 cities and is expected to be in more than 100 additional cities in coming months. 

Sprint’s 4G LTE is now available in Lawrence, Kan.; Topeka, Kan.; Wichita, Kan.; Waukegan-Lake County, Ill.; and Barnstable-Hyannis/Mid-Cape. With this announcement, Sprint has LTE service in 24 cities and is expected to be in more than 100 additional cities in coming months. 

As part of its Network Vision rollout across the country, Sprint is also enhancing existing 3G network experience, including expanded coverage, improved network reliability, better voice quality, and faster 3G data speeds. With today’s announcement, parts of Chicago, Los Angeles and New York now have better 3G service.

Sprint introduced its all-new 4G LTE network in July 2012 and expects to have largely completed the nationwide build-out by the end of 2013.
