Vodafone launches LTE services in Portugal

Vodafone Portugal has started offering commercial 4G services on its LTE mobile network. Initially, Vodafone’s LTE services covers a significant spot in Lisbon and Porto, and is also present in the other district capitals

Vodafone Portugal has started offering commercial 4G services on its LTE mobile network. Initially, Vodafone’s LTE services covers a significant spot in Lisbon and Porto, and is also present in the other district capitals (Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Guarda, Leiria, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Setubal, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real and Viseu) and Funchal and Ponta Delgada. The coverage will be gradually extended to the rest of the country .

Operator is offering two new Mobile Broadband monthly plans with download speeds up to 50Mbps and 100Mbps at the price of € 49.99 and € 59.99 respectively. In addition to the pen 4G, Vodafone will provide other 4G mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, as they become available to be released commercially.
