Zamtel Launches 4G Service in Zambia

Zambia’s communication solutions provider Zamtel today launched its 4G LTE service in Kitwe. Zamtel has also set up a walk-in 4G Live Experiential Centre at its Kitwe offices, where customers can experience LTE in operation.

Zambia’s communication solutions provider Zamtel today launched its 4G LTE service in Kitwe. Zamtel has also set up a walk-in 4G Live Experiential Centre at its Kitwe offices, where customers can experience LTE in operation.

Operator said that its customers in Kitwe will have the opportunity to experience the phenomenal speeds offered by 4G technology – which can deliver in excess of 50Mbps and represents a quantum leap in performance when compared to 3G technology which typically has speeds of 2-3Mbps.
