November 24, 2009 | Telegeography – The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced that the recently concluded auction for spectrum in the 2500MHz-2690MHz range raised almost EUR3.8 million (USD5.7 million). Having formally announced plans earlier this year to offer a total of 14 lots of 2x5MHz bandwidth pairs in the 2500MHz-2570MHz and 2620MHz-2690MHz range, alongside a single block of 50MHz in the 2570MHz-2620MHz range, the auction closed on 23 November.
