Orange Dominicana has launched 4G LTE network in the Dominican Republic. Currently LTE services are available in Santo Domingo area. Operator plans to share more details at a press conference on Monday, July 9.
“Twelve years after having provided Dominicans with the first GSM network, today we announce the arrival of the first 4G LTE network in the Dominican Republic,” said Eduardo Valcárcel, Vice President of Orange .
According to the operator, it invested more than US$150 million to double it’s network and provides the best and latest in mobile technology to all Dominicans in an accessible manner.
