U.S. carrier T-Mobile today announced that San Diego, CA is the latest area to get up to a 50% increase in LTE mobile speeds from a Wideband LTE upgrade. In addition, LTE customers in the Carlsbad area are also experiencing super-fast download speeds.
U.S. carrier T-Mobile today announced that San Diego, CA is the latest area to get up to a 50% increase in LTE mobile speeds from a Wideband LTE upgrade. In addition, LTE customers in the Carlsbad area are also experiencing super-fast download speeds. In November, T-Mobile customers in the San Diego area observed download speeds as high as 76 Mbps.
Wideband LTE doubles the bandwidth and increases the capacity of T-Mobile’s LTE network to help deliver faster peak speeds. With the average download speed in the San Diego area clocking in at 17.9 Mbps, San Diego customers are using on average 2.6 GB of data per month.
