Latvian Mobile Telephone (LMT) has announced introduction of 4G+ or LTE Advanced to double the data transfer speeds on mobile phones and router. Operator is offering 4G+ with utilization of two communication frequencies.
Latvian Mobile Telephone (LMT) has announced introduction of 4G+ or LTE Advanced to double the data transfer speeds on mobile phones and router. Operator is offering 4G+ with utilization of two communication frequencies.
According to the operator, first stage of 4G+ will allow theoretical data transfer speed to reach up to 300 Mb/s.
LMT also continues to expand 4G network to make it accessible to the most remote rural areas, not only in the big cities. LMT 4G high-speed Internet access is currently available in more than 72% of the Latvian population.
