Sprint Adds LTE Network in 41 New Cities

US operator Sprint has added 4G LTE service in 41 more new cities. With this expansion, Sprint’ LTE network now covers more than 225 million people and remains on track to cover 250 million by mid-year. 

US operator Sprint has added 4G LTE service in 41 more new cities. With this expansion, Sprint’ LTE network now covers more than 225 million people and remains on track to cover 250 million by mid-year. 

In addition, operator announced that Sprint Spark, an enhanced LTE service delivering peak wireless speeds of 60Mbps, is available in six new cities, and is expected to cover 100 million people by year-end.

According to Sprint, its LTE network is available to more customers now in such locations as Long Island, N.Y., Minneapolis, and Phoenix. The new markets for Sprint Spark are Newark, N.J.; Oakland, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; Tacoma, Wash.; Waukegan, Ill.; and West Palm Beach, Fla.

Operators’ LTE service is now available in 443 cities whereas Sprint Spark is available in the 24 cities.
