UK operators Vodafone and O2 have launched their commercial LTE services in country today. Vodafone’s LTE network is currently available in London where as O2’s LTE network is available in London, Leeds and Bradford.

O2 aims to make 4G available to an additional two million people per month and plans to launch LTE in ten additional cities by the end of the year.
Vodafone’s LTE network launches in Birmingham, Bradford, Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield will come before the end of the year. Operator plans to bring indoor 4G coverage to 98% of the UK population over the next couple of years.
