According to a Kommersant report, In the future Yota plans to transition to LTE in more cities. In addition, the company continues to develop Wimax network in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In August, Yota announced that it has built 4G LTE network in Kazan, however Yota later disabled the LTE network, 3 days after it’s launch in Kazan. Scartel General Director, Denis Sverdlov said the company shut off network for engineering works.
